Seems that I have a very similar experience to yours of last January, no ICONs on the dash but Temp running high, will be carrying much water for the 6 mile journey to the Garage tomorrow unless the AA come to the rescue and deliver it to the Garage. I think it sounds like the HGF on this old car.
