I’ve never found any multi car policy any good at all. As each car is added, and I had 5 at the time, the premiums got higher and higher. Admiral insured my 75 for £190 including the multi car discount. A few months later my wife’s Renault Modus became due. Admiral wanted £430. Her renewal from Swinton was £210 so we renewed with them again and turned down the Admiral quote. Because of this Admiral withdrew my discount and added another £93 pounds to my policy for the 75. I asked why I was being held to ransom for higher premiums each time I added a car. I was told to read the policy terms. It’s license to ask any amount you like.
Since then all the cars get moved around using search web sites and brokers. The TF has a classic policy, £200. Halifax wanted £540. No brainer.
