Thanks, as I was wondering if the diesels had a larger hose than the V6s. It is tight even without the lip of the thermostat. I had a look at the top hose this evening and noted that the hose is reinforced so I wondered if the braid would yield. Only 4 degrees outside at the moment, so I've got to do something soon.
