Regarding the heater blower speeding up, activate the instrument pack diagnostics and select test 9.0. This will display the alternator charging voltage. What does it read at idle and when you press the accelerator?

Do you mean the bulb failure warning lamp? Are you saying that when the air conditioning isn't active, this warning lamp doesn't illuminate?
