i say yes to fuel surcharge to offset road tax is a fairer system as the apparent non compliance rate here is pretty obvious as we still have the disc display system..

Gerry, I've just looked up your VED prices in Ireland, I see there's is no £0 for zero emissions what so ever. I see the cheapest price anyone would pay is £105ish, and that's for a vehicle with zero CO2. is that correct?

I also see they allow you to tax a vehicle for 3 months, my ZT190 would cost roughly £260 just for 3 months (£910 for 12 months).

The 900cc Dacia with Stop/Start would cost £176 for 12 months, blimey!

I think if I had to pay £910 to tax my ZT, and £560 for the TF, that would be the day I start riding my bike.
