No lockdown here so there's other stuff to be done, while using common sense, perhaps even picking-up a replacement gearbox

Whooops.--I simply meant learning to double de-clutch.

Many years ago I had several Fiat 500's. No synchromesh on ANY of the gears. In five minutes all the gear changes became very easy.---
