No, it has definitely had some water ingress. The inside of the aluminium heatsink (actually in contact with the main circuit board) is very powdery and corroded now that it is bone dry. The water has only affected the very bottom of the unit, so I may get away with it! I think a lot of people may be labouring under the delusion that the v6 ecu is waterproof, but it most certainly is not!
