Screaming fan? Are you saying that the fan is actually "screaming", which would indicate that the fan blade is touching its surround or that the motor itself is faulty. If the fan is just running fast and erratically or continuously, this can be due to other problems, such as a failed low speed fan leading to overheating/overcooling cycling. The fan is also linked to air con controls in that the fan automatically kicks in when certain settings are used. Jules on the forum, supplies the "Revotech" fan as an upgrade replacement.
