You don't need a T4 just yet!
To discover whether the radiator fan is at fault, please do the famous "demist test". Start the engine from cold and press the windscreen demist button. Now get out of the car and walk to the radiator grille. Is the fan running continuously?
To find out which type of fan you have, looking in through the radiator grille at the fan shroud, a 2 speed fan will have a silver (or maybe gold) coloured resistor mounted at about the two o'clock position. This component is rectangular with a
wire at each end.
