My 75 has not run up many miles in my ownership. When I bought it, I had use of a company car, so the 75 was for high days and holidays. Now I'm retired, I do many less miles, I travel free local on the bus, so not much need for the car for that.
Despite that, I keep it taxed, insured, MOT'ed and fit for the road. Cost is minimal, I have never had to spend any big money on it, so I could say I am in its debt.
I would not want a new car, I would not want the expense nor having to pay dealer services to maintain the guarantee.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.
I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
