The hub metal seems very soft - I've pulled threads out of 3 so far!
A right pain to helicoil too, so I just fitted a good used hub.
M14 x 2.0 is indeed correct, and a standard bolt of the correct length and tensile rating will do the job fine (as long as you're careful when fitting).
