Dreaded thread revival!!! Well folks, I'm four years (approx) further down the line. I have had a 1.8 Conny for most of that time. I have never had a breakdown with it. It had a precautionary head gasket and cambelt change when I bought it and just annual servicing. A knee injury has made me seek out my 2.0 V6 automatic and I love it. Petrol is my choice due to my relatively low annual mileage. I'm still seeing a lot of oil burner problems on the forum???
