Sludge is standard on all V6s, I clean mine out once a year, no need to worry.
We've got four V6s in the family, two were dead easy to bleed - raise tank, fill, start and drive. But the other two were more difficult and I found it advisable to open the bleed screw while the engine was warming up to expel air. Needed several attempts before it worked. One of the cars defeated the professionals with their vacuum bleeding etc -
