At school a teacher would stand over you until you ate the veg, it was always boiled to within an inch of its life to the point of being mush and stone cold

Our woodpecker is a regular visitor, at the feeders a couple of times a day, stuffs itself with sunflower seeds. I can't help laughing at it, very wise woodpecker, why get a headache head butting a tree when there's easy food available
I just wish it would hang around long enough to get a decent photo, slightest movement at the window and its off. Only photo I have is of it on the neighbours feeder taken with a DSLR and telephoto lens.
