Hi sir,
very good point about the Fuse I will do that.!
Hence my own cautionary point so the wire doesn't get caught or chaff, and leaving the connector under the bonnet.
That aside the model I have is designed for wet, gel, leisure, stop start batteries and for many different charging scenarios and permanent connection for cars, boats, caravans, motorhomes, classics and cars like mine that are not used a lot.
