There are two fuses in the fuel pump relay circuit. The lower rated supplies the coil and the higher rated supplies the contacts.
For the earlier fusebox, the 10 amp fuse illustrated (F34) supplies the relay coil only. F20 (not illustrated) supplies the pump(s) and is the fuse which is likely to blow in the event of a fault. This is located second from the left in the same row as F34 and, as you can see, a 30 amp fuse is fitted.
In the later fusebox it's F10 (10 amps) and F28 (30 amps) respectively.
