The tuner in the Tourer is under the rear black plastic cover as you open Tailgate.
The Radio Receiver is also in there.
It is a simple job of unplugging one and plugging in another if a BMW compatible Tuner,
otherwise a adaptor lead will be required,
itself often quite pricey.
It isn't necessary to completely power down but I always feel more happy doing it this way as there are connections to Sat Nav computer in Loom.
