Bill; I am sorry to tell you that you have been shafted. First of all, petrol cars have only one fuel pump. Some diesels have two.
Secondly, on the petrol engined cars fuel pump failure is very rare.
What were the symptoms of your breakdown? Maybe we can help diagnose your problem properly (and free of charge too)? If it's fuel related it's most likely to be a loose fuel filter cannister.
