I suspect the garage have replaced the in-tank pump and the filter module, believing the latter to be a second pump.
If the prices for the two items include labour and genuine OEM parts were used then IMO they feel about right.
Of course the garage's diagnosis was probably incorrect and most likely at least one of the two items did not need to be replaced. But most non-expert garages are unlikely to understand the details of the fuel system operation on our cars, so their course of action does not seem unreasonable if the car was suffering fuel supply/pressure related systems.
What were the sysmptoms and have they been resolved with the change of the modules?
