So, as many will know my wife is an RGN/Unit Manager at a local nursing home. After months of watching the residents pass away before their time, all from C-19, then working all hours god sent due to staff illness and shortages, the company that runs the Nursing Home have been unable to fill the 24 empty beds left by the deceased. For the first time as long as anyone can remember there is apparently a surplus of beds in Nursing Homes.

Having lost around 70% of their income (previously generated by these poor victims) the Nursing home will now close leaving all of the staff redundant.

So now it falls to my wife to start contacting the relatives of the remaining few residents to advise them they will have to find somewhere to live. ( Oh and it's her birthday tomorrow)

Closing date is expected to be 1st Dec...... Merry Christmas
