There are also a huge number of retailers / pubs / hotels and restaurants with Epos Systems running XP. The cost to business is going to be massive over the next few months. I suspect some will go to Windows 7 but many will migrate to cloud POS solutions. There are plenty out there on Android and iOS.

Microsoft really have shot themselves in the foot (again)

I use Windows 8 and it's hateful IMO.
