Hi Dawn and Julien, 55 years of marriage is quite something. I bet you could write a book for those in need of guidance
We went through a rough patch. Jessica hurt her back and was immobile for a few weeks. With specialist treatments she is now on her feet again. On Monday I am at the hospital to get the biopsy results. I am not expecting anything bad and every day I am getting stronger. I have been on a blood thinner tablet for the past 2 years following the bypass. A side-effect of the tablet is stomach ulcers. The bypass is working very well, so I will ask if I can come off the thinners.
For lunch today, I am having a baked potato and a portion of baked beans. This is progress from the bowl of rice
But you know what, I am feeling happy about everything, truly as there is always someone worse off.
How did you celebrate your 55th?
