I am not expecting anything bad and every day I am getting stronger. I have been on a blood thinner tablet for the past 2 years following the bypass. A side-effect of the tablet is stomach ulcers. The bypass is working very well, so I will ask if I can come off the thinners.

For lunch today, I am having a baked potato and a portion of baked beans. This is progress from the bowl of rice
But you know what, I am feeling happy about everything, truly as there is always someone worse off.

How did you celebrate your 55th?
First off we returned the terrible twosome back down South, took them down personally just too make sure they got there.

On the way back stopped off in West Bridgford for a celebration dinner in a restaurant called Cote De Brassiere.
Surprising how memories flood back in a relaxed atmosphere, after 53 years in our old house in Egham we would never have thought to have moved up to the East Midlands in our later years.
Now living here just over a year, we should have done it earlier, downside is we had left a lot of good friends and neighbours behind, but life up here is so laid back there is no need to rush to do anything, We are very happy as Larry.
Any one who reads this and is reasonably local feel free to drop in for a chat and a cuppa?.
