I have in the past seen tyre pumps where the pipe SCREWS onto the valve, so will have ot look for one of these and make up a connection to an old pressure gauge.
Shouldn't be necessary, there must be a propriatory item available somewhere. Perhaps I'll check what BigRuss uses if I have to seek his help.
