I have thought about that, and I will endeavour to have another talk with them.
They did say that before April they don't charge parking, normally it's £3 per car. So because we are going when it's free they cannot reserve a area for us. If they tell me it could be busy, I will probably end up changing the date.
This thread is to gauge numbers.
