I never really put much heed to any tyre shine, if it is raining and the car is used in it, nothing I find lasts in terms of shine or sheen (you can buff it off to leave it with a more matt finish).
All I can say is it lasts as long as the AG vinyl and rubber care both on tyres and under bonnet. It darkens the tyre wall, and gives it that soft new look.
I use it roughly every fortnight, after every wash of the car, as it only involves a quick spray (4 or 5) per tyre and leave it. As a result my tyres always look quite new and dark even when due for replacement, if that makes sense?
