Assuming fuses 10 & 28 in the passenger compartment are good? 12v should appear at the pump connector on the purple/white wire initially for 10 secs or so the pump priming then 12v is switched off until the engine runs. If nothing there go back further to the fuel relay in the passenger compartment there are four mini relays in there , the bottom left is the fuel pump relay, put your hands on it when turning the ignition switch on or listen for it doing its switching.

I have seen the wire for the power supply from the main relay in the engine bay fail in continuity to the fuel pump relay but was fixed with a new jumper lead. Only once seen this though.

Otherwise after disconnecting the fuel pump connector at the pump put 12v on connection numbered 2 of the pump and an earth and that will tell if pump running. Study the harness connector to confirm where the purple/white and black earth correspond to the pump connector if in any doubt
