If you're not familiar with this, do a simple keyword seach for FFS and you'll find loads of threads. The fix - if it is FFS - is the Fabled Orange Clip (forum search term is FOC).

The fuel filter has not separated. This used to be my motor in the past and the filter has been modified. Besides the symptoms are that the pump does not operate when the ignition key is turned on, indicating issues with either power supply, relay/s, earth return or just a bad pump.
