After reading this thread,thought I'd put my two penneth in=
I use pump pliers to get the rubber hangers off,with a bit of silicone grease,as I believe washing up liquid is bulked up with salt,which could degrade the rubber.
Also you can get the same items from carparts4less as ecp ,,cheaper, I think they might be the same company.
