******NOW SOLD********After 15 years and 120K miles of the most comfortable driving ever, I have decided that it is time to find a new home for my 75. It has done 168K miles in total but still looks nice and drives well. It’s been regularly serviced and all filters, belts and fluids (including the gearbox oil) have been changed at the recommended intervals. It had all new discs, pads and handbrake shoes fitted in 2019 and has only done a few thousand miles since. Other service items have been replaced when necessary.
Overall it is very original, and in remarkable condition for the age and miles, but shows a little bit of patina here and there. I have never polished another car quite as much as this one! It’s a fantastic long distance cruiser and easily capable of 50+ mpg.
It had the jacking point areas professionally welded in 2018 but there are some signs of rust appearing on the sill ends. However, I do have a set of 4 Thomas Hobbs repair sections available separately.
Pretty much everything works but the air-con needs a re-gas and the passenger door lock plays up (I replaced the driver’s side).
The car comes with 2 key fobs and has MOT until December 2022. Next Service is due in November.
The car was in reliable daily use until the pandemic struck but since then I’ve worked at home, have use of another car and, sadly, the Rover isn’t being used as much. So it’s time for another enthusiast to enjoy it.
