Marinas can be a law unto themselves that's for sure

Thankfully we have a properly down up contract at our Marina. For the most part we have been more than happy in the five years we have been there.

You are right though, nothing about boat ownership comes cheap.
Having said that, Ros and I don't go on holidays (bit hard with seven cats at home) so we get to enjoy weekends onboard when we can. Also, when I'm working in Norfolk, I use Lady Emma for board and lodgings as well.
