So situation is 75 cdt wont start after a couple of months lay up. Both fuel pumps working, fuel in tank, good flow at exit from fuel filter. Engine starts then dies with easy start. Plenum is empty. Next step I guess is to change cam sensor. But car had no symptoms of cam sensor fault before lay up and I'm wondering if anyone has seen out of the blue failure of this sensor before. If this does not fix it I think next step will be to remove ecu and send to an expert? Thanks all.
