This morning l got a longer bed as hardly any sleep is no fun. I went through 14 mugs of tea and 4 750ml jugs of water from 9pm through to 7am.
Plus they given me fan to keep cool.
I met with a different Consultant today as mine is off this this weekend.
I will be in all weekend which is what l knew would happen.
Will be going onto antibiotics - still waiting for these to turn up.
The last 2 cannular's are to removed but don't know when.
Food is brilliant, l eat better in here than l do at home, 4 meals a day, plenty of tea, squash.
I had 2 puddings this lunchtime apple & custard followed by my favourite jam sponge & custard.
I know the lady as she has served me food many times over the last few years.
I found out what happened with my operation as it took 4 hours instead of 2 hours.
They put a nick in my bowel which had to be stitched up. Because of this the drain has to stay in until Monday.
I watched lreland v Samoa Rugby match on my mobile via the ITV App.
