Yesterday morning I got the offside wheel arch liner back fitted the mud flap, sorted the ABS sensor plug, put it all together and got the wheel on.
Started on the service items, crankcase & air filter, didn't have time for an oil change so that's next.
Took it out for a run and all seemed ok. Later when I cut the grass at my cricket club by towing the broken gang mower, I was getting all sorts of clunking noises from the steering. it only seemed noticeable at low speeds and I didn't feel on the roads before. I took the wheel off to see if I had missed a bolt or done something silly....
..and I discovered a lot of play in the o/s track rod end ball joint
So now I'm off to find a replacement, just when I thought I'd nearly finished.
Any recommendations for brands to use?
