Of course we are not aware of the full facts as of yet. Could be the the boat had a technical fault which caused it to drift out of the channel and onto the mud.
Probably was an error though........One hour handover of hire craft to inexperienced helms is probably not enough.
Thankfully everyone who was on board(dog included) are safe.
Happens all the time on Breydon, usually it's just a case of sitting it out until high tide re-floats your boat. I'm guessing the list it was sitting at meant the rescue was the preferred option this time.
