Using the army against the population it's intended to defend is an act of tyranny. Way to provoke civil war. N.B. there's 65-68 million uk citizens perhaps 20 million fit enough to fight. There's 120,000 total in the army - They'd struggle to clamp down on the major cities let alone subdue the whole country.

Well - I'd feel sorry for the poor person unaware of the situation being caught out by a law restricting the freedom that is normal in this country. The police take the 'Mickey' here. And in today's news have been told to be consistent and fair in the current crisis.
