It is as always a case of each to their own when it comes to autos and manuals. I was just trying to understand why an auto on a motorway or open road.
I get caught in traffic jams so infrequently solo or towing I still dont have a mind to change. Even in a traffic jam you should be in and out of drive and not foot on the brakes, in fact at work I find it worse taking an auto in and out of drive then I do a manual and it is so much easier in an auto

I actually enjoy changing gear
