If the price is right it's a good, possibly best, place from which to start. The upcoming price rise for diesel fuel need not be a problem given moderate use and suitable garaging would be desirable. A really full service with four new appropriate tyres would be about £800. Would be better with DSG leather but, hey ho, you can't have everything.
