Thanks for that Steve, there are 2 variants one is for the automatic according to the rimmers link you sent PEP 000130 should be the right one. This is not a job I could attempt alone, but the husband of my sisters friend is a former mechanic and he is going to come and have a look, the part on the ebay link is half the price of rimmers so if the guy is willing to help I will get the new part. I really hope it can be fixed, I don't want to give up this car it's been great to me, I think we have done the return trip to Hungary about 20 times with only a couple of issues that where sorted in Belgium.
