"Hi Colin. Thanks for your email. Firstly MG Saloon Day is MGCC event. The organising group for Saloon Day, which includes people from our Register, FWD Register, 635 Register and Kimber House planned to have the event at BMM Gaydon this year. Due to their other events, Saloon Day would have been on the same day as their own BMC/Leyland event. However the terms they imposed on us weren’t practical, and the space allocated to us was tiny. Therefore it was decided to find an alternative location. A few alternative locations were suggested but not agreed. In the end it was decided to shelve the 2017 event and focus on next year."
