Thanks T-Cut. I had looked at these, but the original item was around <0.5mm thick I believe. This affects the rotation of the connection on the temp sensor when tightened. The thermostat housing obstructs the connector plug if it isn't aligned making it much more difficult to remove and refit the connector plug if a different thickness washer is used.
