As I was putting in the last piece of laminate, after much measuring, cutting and swearing, she was nattering about the next job. I just wanted a cuppa and a biscuit. I eat too many "treats". She eats healthily.
I've seen "the list". It's very long.
Before the paint brushes are cleaned, the next "few" jobs are being listed before my tunnel vision eyes.
............... and by the way, the grass continues to grow whilst you are doing those jobs, so that will need cutting too.

But,, to be fair the wives do their bit as well. For instance minds spends a lot of her time doing voluntary work. She often walks around shops without being paid. She is also very good at compiling lists
