As to the OP, you have the Parkers guide and the prices in the classifieds.
There is really no point in arguing either of these.
The main question is what is it worth to you as you'll be forking out the cash for it. Mr.D has valuations that may look low to some owners. Owners have a price in mind that may be higher than the value put on it.
The fact is there are not many made and even less on the road. That is something you can't always capture in a valuation.
Best thing is to set yourself a limit, go look for the car, and if you find one that fits the bill, buy it.
It may be 20% over-priced to the general public but could be a bargain in your eyes.
