Your insurance company, may, if they are aware of what you are doing decide they will not insure you.
The government are considering banning the "tampering" of cars. This "modification" is the ammunition they need.

I'm sure "the Government" won't care about a one off modification like mine...so it won't really be ammunition for them.
And based on the actions of the last 20 months, it is clear that the Government also do whatever they want to...like banning the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2030...so forgive me, but I don't care that much about them.
I have also sorted out insurance for a "modified car".
Do you happen to know how many spindles there are?
