Well after a concerted effort with a cup brush on the angle grinder to ensure there was no trace of the badly applied black paint remaining, the first coat is on..... Bonda Zinc anti rust primer.
So it's tomorrow morning's job to apply a couple of coats of chassis black, then they will be ready for cavity wax on Saturday and finally fitted to the car.
