The window should be an easy job depending on year/model of caravan, it should remove from top rail once opened and fully lifted. You will have some stoppers/stays to remove, unclip/unscrew and then slide the window out Rich.

As above Andy, but I said I didnt want a new side put on for fear of it getting damp ingress. Plus the fact it wpuld increase the claim value, which would likely render the caravan a write iff, due to its age and value.. Tbh if they come back with that , I will just get the winndow replaced and fond someone to sort the gouges. No way I'm letting them write this off.
