There are times when you feel like having a go at things, it might be a venture, a rash decision to save money, or a boast that "I could do that". The internet is a massive source of information and education and on several occasions I have taken on tasks that end up taking ages and it would have made more sense to employ a professional. Must be the air where you live that's affected you.--I lived in Bedfont and Hanworth for many years and have, maybe, caught the same bug.

I started work in 1955. Around that time nearly everybody was a DIYer.

It has stuck to me for the rest of my life.--
