As an old ̶f̶a̶r̶ person who has a concessionary travel pass I've just learned that GMTE will be putting a £10 charge from next year to continue to travel on train & tram, bus travel not affected.
I use bus & train at off peak times quite a lot so 10 quid/year is still a bargain.

Are there any other places in the country going to implement this charge other than Greater Manchester?
