In a way you’re lucky as it was the rear cap, my daughter’s Tourer blew a front cap contaminating everything including the drive belt - one dead Tourer. A new cap is fiddly but possible to get into place but the old one probably blew because of excess crankcase pressure

The gauze filters inside the cam shaft covers need cleaning / replacing and the smaller breather holes unblocking (they will be blocked), check the breather pipes for breakage. Not an expensive or difficult job but very time consuming as the upper manifold needs to come off. Good time to replace the rear spark plugs while everything is exposed.
