Before Christmas a group of friends flew out from Inverness for a wedding on Manda Island. Someone attending the wedding was a super spreader and when our friends returned to Nairobi, they had runny noses with light symptoms and tested positive, had to self quarantine here and change their flights. Eventually throat+nasal swabs proved negative and they were allowed to fly back to the UK. Thankfully they had been triple vaccinated before they arrived in Kenya.
Hopefully everything works out for your wife and neighbours.
Today I have been out shopping for groceries, blue skies and 32C in the shade.
